When we first hired Event Parlor(EP) to assist with the planning of our wedding we knew the high-quality of the services that we would be getting because of past events hosted by EP. However, it wasn't until we were in the initial phase of the process that we understood the dedication, professionalism and unwavering commitment to excellence that EP would provide to ensure we had the best day of our lives!
On day one, Ashley met with us to get a true understanding of who we were as a couple, what our expectations were and what elements of the wedding were most important to us. In doing this initial assessment, Ashley got to work and mocked up a theme creation and design board of what our day could be. She was instrumental in helping us to choose and then design our save the dates, invitations, etc. (which we are still in love with to this day). She developed a detailed but easy-to-use budget template so that we could keep track of our spending and plan appropriately for additional costs. She helped keep us on track by scheduling routine check-ins and assigning us manageable tasks to keep us moving forward, without overwhelming us.
For the groom, the wedding website was one of the elements most important to him so Ashley helped us craft a beautiful wedding website that exhibited us as a couple while remaining informative and helpful to our guests. She took the time to add in special photos, while telling our love story and she regularly updated the travel and hotel information to keep our guest abreast of important updates. She included fun activities that our guests could partake in and she helped build out our honey fund registry.
One of my major points of anxiety was trying to deal with the various vendors (florists, photographers, videographers, etc) but Ashley swooped in and helped manage those relationships effortlessly. She reviewed vendor contracts, negotiated pricing and ensured vendors were delivering on their promises. The hotel where were we were having the wedding gave us space to have a small wedding rehearsal dinner the day before the big day but Ashley took the dinner to the next level by decorating the table with beautiful candles, flowers, personalized photos, etc. ensuring that it was a memorable night.
Initially we hired Ashley to assist with activities leading up to the wedding and then planned to use the on-site "day of" planner provided by our hotel. However, after the hotel planner lapsed on her duties, Ashley immediately jumped in to assist with the day-of activities. As a bride, I am forever grateful that she was able and willing to move from her role as a wedding guest to fill in the gap of being the day-of planner without hesitation. This speaks to her integrity and authenticity as a planner who truly wants the best for her clients. I can honestly say that hiring EP to help with planning our wedding was truly one of the best decisions we could have ever made. Ashley is an incredible, hard-working, and trustworthy professional event planner and I know that EP will surpass any expectations that you set for your event!
